About

Avrora is a child of mixed heritage, her mother an Elezen, her father a Miqo'te. She is a loving and caring person who treats her friends, and even strangers, with kindness. Avrora plays the role of a leader and motherly figure to the idol group known as Phantasia, and is often seen adventuring around Etheirys between performances, helping the downtrodden and acquiring inspiration for her next song. She has rarely been shown to be in a bad mood, and can tolerate all of the groups eccentricities. However, should someone hurt her sister, be it emotionally or physically, Avroras personality does a complete 180 and revert to her old delinquent days and become incredibly aggressive, a raging typhoon of magic and sword. This avatar of vengeance state of hers goes to such extremes where there was one case where she dropped everything she was doing for a couple months to hunt down a man who tried to have her sister kidnapped. She caught up to him all the way in the Azim Steppes in the Far East.Favorite color: Sky Blue

I'm relatively new to Final Fantasy XIV, so forgive me if anything doesn't add up lore wise for this character. I run the Free Company: Phantasia, the FC designed for the members of the in-character idol group of the same name, along with our friends. However, Avrora herself is currently in the FC Shadow Wolves, as I am looking to expand on my friends group and socialize with more people.
I welcome new friends and RP partners, and am 31 years old. I'd rather not interact with minors. As far as RP types goes, Mature/Slice of Life/Adventure/Dark (depending) are fine with me! I plan to eventually have a twitter consistently being updated for this character but haven't reached that point yet.As far as character inspiration goes, Avrora is largely inspired by Mirajane Strauss from Fairy Tail. Outgoing, friendly, dangerous when those who she considers family are threatened, as well as both working at a tavern and as a bikini model! Though of course I've put my own personal touches into the character as well!

History

Born from the romance between Seeker of the Sun male of the Antelope Clan and an Elezen scholar from Sharlayan, Avrora had a more unique upbringing to most. Immediately, her very name was thrown for a loop as the naming conventions used by their two peoples were complete opposites, but ultimately they settled to name her Vrora, while having her adopt the Antelope Clans standard for her given name, while retaining her mothers name. From there however things only grew more and more complicated. Her parents were not destined to remain together, and thus she ended up joining her father and his clan in Gyr Abania, rather then follower her mother through the Black Shroud. In her early years there, she was shunned by most of the clan, not only due to her more elezen appearance, but also as she continued to hold a womans name as her family name, rather then her fathers, yet still managed to maintain a relation with her father at least, who taught her how to hunt, as well as the ways of the Red Mage. Yet the ostracizing of her clan towards her led her to become more and more hateful of both herself and those around her, often did she get into fights with the other children, and quickly became something of a problem child to both her clan (more then she already was that is) and those that interacted with them. And then Gyr Abania fell to the Empire, and Avrora watched as many of her clan who went off to join the fight never returned, including her father, whom she witnessed die before her very eyes. With none left to care about there, even as young as she was, she fled with the other refugees for deeper regions of Eorzea, eventually coming across members of her mothers family in the Dravanian Hinterlands, where she immediately became enamored with Sharlayan society and believed with the aid of their scholars she might better unlock the powers of her fathers Soul Stone, which was the only thing she had left to remember him by.This was the turning point in Avroras life, as not three years went by with the Sharlayans before they made the decision to evacuate back to their homeland, and she was ultimately given the choice to either leave, or follow her new family home to Sharlayan. She chose the latter, and from there spent the next decade studying amongst the scholars of Sharlayan, learning more of the world, and furthering her practice as a Red Mage, eventually landing herself a spot in the Studium. Her beginning days there however still had her rather rebellious, aggressive and a bit of a pain to her peers and teachers, especially as she was constantly compared to her sister, who had started at the Studium at the same time as her. Her relationship with her sister at the time was strained, Avrora once more spiteful at the rejection she found towards her from most around her. It wasn't until half way through their time in the Studium, when they were sent out on their respective assignments and her sister went missing that Avrora turned over a new leaf. Avrora did recognize that her sister was always trying to be friendly towards her, and missing that, Avrora took a break from her time at the Studium to try to find out where she had gone, and such a trek it was. Her journey took her to the Far Eastern lands of Othgard where an Eorzean noble had taken a liking to her sister and kidnapped her. Avrora dealt with it the best way she knew how---Violence.Upon returning to Sharlayan with her sister, Avrora started to show clear signs of being protective of her sister now, often to an extreme, but the constant proximity to her did slowly let Avrora become more and more socially capable and accepted by her peers as her rebellious nature slowly faded away. Where once was the fiery, rebellious, aggressive troublemaker, now was an energetic, outgoing, friendly extrovert. Her teachers who once viewed her as something of a problematic student bordering on expulsion now recognized her as nearing honors, especially as she took a strong aptitude to a Sage stone, rapidly learning how to not only maneuver and operate her Nouliths but also making use of her strong grasp of medical and aetheric knowledge to show exceptional capability in all three fields the Nouliths were used for; Healing, forming of barriers, and aggressive support.Yet eventually, the tug of adventure came calling when she was sent abroad with one of her professors to further the learnings of Sharlayan society. Returning to Eorzea, Avrora ultimately decided that she needed to experience the world more then just in the books that the many libraries of Sharlayan had to offer, and thus, upon graduation, she said her farewells to her teachers, as well as the romantic interest she had grown attached to, swearing first not to share what knowledge the Sharlayans coveted nor use it as a means for savagery, she joined the Adventurers Guild and began her life as an adventurer, making use of her skills as a Red Mage and Sage to overcome each challenge the guild- and world as a whole, had for her. Now, in recent years, she returned to Gyr Abania to join the resistance and reclaim what she still considered her homeland, as even if her people ostracized her, it was where she was born, where she was raised, and the land her beloved father fell defending. During her efforts there, she managed to convince one of the Doman Samurai who had come to support the Eorzean Alliance. She never became a proper Samurai or anything, but grasped enough of the basics to properly handle and wield a Katana, and even worked to tie it into her skills as a Red Mage. Now, with Gyr Abania liberated, Avrora continues her life as an adventurer, often aiding the Alliance against their struggle against the Empire. But primarily her time is spent working with her companions in the adventuring company, Fallen Eden, assisting as a waitress and recruiter for the company in their tavern, Lost Paradise, as well as working as a model, mostly in beach themed bikini wear. Yet when she has time, she does make sure to return home to Sharlayan to visit with family, say hello to her former teachers. Outside of that she finds comfort and time to relax at home with her beloved partner and wife, S'lanna Rhen
